Geothermal energy is a renewable energy obtained through the use of natural heat from the interior of Earth’s core and the energy that is emitted every day by the action of the Sun. At shallow levels there are areas with optimal conditions for the extraction of heat and obtainment of energy efficiency in the form of geothermal energy.
The main objective of capturing this energy is to transform it into heat, cold and sanitary hot water. The cost of a heat pump is cheaper than the construction of the three facilities separately: radiators, air conditioning and hot water.
This way, geothermal installations can be built in the residential, tertiary and industrial sectors, obtaining heating, cooling and sanitary hot water, saving up to 75% in energy consumption. In addition, the heat pump does not pollute, is automatic and autonomous and is stable throughout the year because the seasons do not affect the temperature of the subsoil.
